Port Renfrew

Surrounded by coastal rainforest, rugged shoreline and world class fishing, Port Renfrew is the perfect location to begin your next adventure.  Ideally situated at the mouth of the Strait of Juan de Fuca, the waters surrounding Port Renfrew are home to some of BC’s most famous fishing grounds, such as the mouth of the Nitnat River and the legendary Swiftsure Bank. These nutrient rich waters are teaming with krill, herring and other baitfish, making them the ideal feeding grounds for hungry Chinook salmon, coho salmon, Pacific halibut, lingcod, rockfish, Dungeness crab, and a variety of other species.
